Waste Heat Into Valued Carbon

Tough Tech · Carbon Capture

CO2ncentrate converts 35–95°C waste heat into purified CO2 streams — enabling direct air capture and utilization at industrial sites, data centers, and beyond.

The problem

Two-thirds of energy is wasted.

67% of primary energy is rejected as low-grade heat — from electricity production, HVAC, transportation, and more. Today's amine and solid-sorbent capture systems can't use it economically, so it vents while CO2 capture stays expensive.

Wasted as low-grade heat

That waste heat is the world's largest untapped energy resource.

The breakthrough

Carbonate chemistry, powered by waste heat.

Cold carbonate solution absorbs CO2; gentle heat drives it back out — no combustion, no high-grade energy required. Modular stages purify CO2 from any feed up to 1 bar on a temperature differential as small as 10°C. No complex chemistry. No high-energy regeneration.

❄ Cold side
Absorb
≈ 25°C

Carbonate solution captures CO2 from the feed stream.

🔥 Hot side
Release
≈ 65°C

Low-grade heat drives concentrated CO2 back out of solution.

What it unlocks

A capture platform with no fragile parts.

🧪

Simple. Safe. Stable.

Commodity inorganic solvents — no amines, no degradation, no specialty sorbents.

🌡

Ultra-low grade heat

Operates at 35–95°C with a 10°C minimum differential.

⚙️

One process, every source

Direct air capture, point source capture, and outgassing up to 1 bar CO2.

How it works

Four stages. One closed loop.

  1. 01❄️

    Absorb

Cool carbonate solution pulls CO2 from any feed stream.

  2. 02🔄

    Circulate

Saturated brine circulates between vessels. Integrated exchangers conserve thermal energy between stages.

  3. 03🔥

    Heat

Low-grade heat drives CO2 back out of solution.

  4. 04↩️

    Repeat

Repeated absorb–release cycles across multiple stages concentrate CO2 to spec.
